Royal Mother's Day Celebrations at the 2011 Mother's Day Royal Picnic | Sunday 8 May, 2011

With MC, Libbi Gorr, the main stage will come alive with 4 hours of non-stop entertainment, featuring Jay Laga'aia & Band and Shrek 'Forever After' Live Show. Jay will be performing songs from his album, I Can Sing Anytthing.

While enjoying your picnic lunch, the family will be entertained by The Scots College Jazz Band and other performances include Brent Street dance studio. Spot (from the much loved 'Spot' children's books) will also be roaming the Showring near the main stage to meet and greet fans of all ages.

Libbi Gorr is a writer and comic who has just authorised the hilarious book ‘The A – Z of Mummy Manners: an etiquette guide for dealing with other children’s mothers and assorted mummy dilemmas. You will know Libbi from her work as Elle McFeast and on ABC local radio. Come laugh at the foibles of women with children from fetus to five.

Jane Walker : Sydney singer/songwriter Jane Walker launches her debut album in 2011, bringing to fruition over a decade of performance and songwriting in Australia, UK, Europe and Africa in her album Walk Gently.

Enjoy an exclusive live performance from Jane and her band at the Mother's Day Royal Picnic this year and be the first to hear brand new tracks from this soulful songstress.

Jay Laga’aia : Jay Laga'aia is best known for his part on Australian children's TV show Playschool, and also for his role as Captain Typho in the films Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

He is also known for his stage productions such as The Lion King. Laga'aia played the role of Judas in a 1994 production of Jesus Christ Superstar in New Zealand.

In 2007, Laga'aia released a children's album, Come Dance and Sing. Jay released his second CD for children, I Can Play Anything, in August 2010.

Shrek needs to find the love in his heart and learn to be romantic but even with his new friend the Funky Fairytale Fairy on his side; it’s going to take an ogre-sized effort. Can Shrek surprise Fiona with her perfect dream date? And will he discover love is just as sweet the second time around.
